p.2 Schooner Ashore - Loss of Life - A correspondent at Port Rowan, writing to a gentleman in Hamilton on the 27th inst. says: "A large topsail schooner, name not known, went ashore last night, on Long Point West; 2 out of 7 of the crew were saved, the rest supposed to be drowned. The two saved were so exhausted that they were unable to give any account of the vessel; she is supposed to have been loaded with wheat."
