Notes By the Way - mentions crowd gathering at Oshawa for a schooner launch.

Oswego, Nov. 10th - The sch. Emblem, from the lower lake, with a cargo of iron, sprung a leak and was run aground, on the 6th inst., on the flat under Long Point, and allowed to sink in 8 feet water.
