p.2 Arrival of The First Steamer From Canada - The Highlander arrived from the Canadian ports at 6 1/2 o'clock this morning. She left Toronto yesterday and called at all the ports eastward as far as Cobourg. Capt. McBride says the navigation is entirely clear, and he found no difficulty in getting into all the ports. The Highlander brought a large load of passengers and a fair freight. She had nearly 200 passengers... [Rochester Union April 2nd]
