p.2 Inquest - death of boatman from Bowman's wood scow above Kingston Mills.

Collision - Five Lives Lost - The propeller Cataract bound from Toledo to Buffalo and the brig Oxford, bound from Oswego to the Upper Lakes, with a cargo of railroad iron, came in collision Friday, off Long Point. The Oxford went down in three minutes. The Captain, his wife, mate and two seamen drowned. The Propeller sustained but little damage.
