p.2 Pierrepont is the name of a scow steamer which was launched at the Marine Railway one day last week. She made a trip to Cape Vincent on Monday afternoon, having on board several persons who had been engaged in her structure, with their respective friends, who found the passage, no doubt, agreeable as well as expeditious. The boat left Kinghorn's wharf about two o'clock and returned about eight in the evening.
