p.2 Change of Time - Steamer Armenia, Capt. Collier - Hereafter the steamer Armenia will leave Picton daily at 6 a.m. for Kingston, calling at all intermediate ports. Returning will leave Kingston at 3:30 p.m. for Picton. For freight or passage apply at James Swift's, Office on wharf. Oct. 14th

p.3 Fire On Garden Island - oakum house took fire, one man badly burned.

Ashore - The steam barge Herald, from Sodus to Montreal with apples, went ashore on Friday night at Nine Mile Point. She was pulled off by the Lady Franklin on Saturday morning without any damage being done.
