Body Found - The Oswego Times of Wednesday says: "We stated on Monday that Wm. Seege, of Mill Point, mate of the schr. Sybilla, had been missing since the night of Monday, the 14th inst., and it was feared he was drowned. This morning about 6 o'clock, his body was discovered floating inside of the West pier by John Murray, who with assistance of John Demarss and George Watson secured it. The body was subsequently taken to a barn on West Second street near Cayuga. There is a gash in the back of the head about two inches long, reaching to the skull. The doctors could not determine whether the skull was fractured without further examination. The body was covered with mud. The clothes, consisting of a frock, a pair of pants, shirt, etc., were intact. An inquest was held and adjourned.
