p.3 The Intelligencer says that the steamer City of Belleville ran hard aground on the western bank of the channel on Monday night, and was towed off yesterday morning by the tug Bonar and the steamer Hastings.

Belleville harbour is being deepened and enlarged by dredging.

p.4 Morrisburg Items - The schooner Norris has landed a large quantity of square pine and oak timber for the lock gates from the State of Michigan.
