Marine Notes

Port Colborne, Nov. 13th - Up - nothing.

Down - schrs. Jas. Wade, Toledo, Ogdensburg, corn; Hoboken, Toledo, Ogdensburg, wheat; prop. Scotia, Chicago, Kingston, gen. cargo.

The schooner Hoboken coming in this morning had to drop anchor. Not having any assistance from the tugs her stern swung around against the elevator dock, cutting her small boat in two. The schooner Wade also in coming in had to drop her anchor and hauled the knight head out of her.

Port Colborne, Nov. 14th, 11:30 a.m. - Up - schr. Jennie White, Oswego, Detroit, coal.

Down - schrs. Wave Crest, Cleveland, Toronto, coal; Smith & Post, Toledo, Oswego, wheat; Pulaski, Detroit, Oswego, wheat; W.Y. Emery, Cleveland, Toronto, coal; prop. Canada, Chatham, Buffalo, ran in this morning with small-pox aboard. The authorities ordered her out again. She proceeded to Buffalo.

The tugs Hector and Mary left here this morning for the wreck of the schr. Laytham, ashore at Port Abino.
