p.2 The Opening of Navigation - str. Pierrepont made trip to Cape Vincent; sch. R.B. Harmon (from Atlantic voyage) and Jessie of St. Catherines towed to open water; Several attempts to tow the barque Sir Edmund Head away from Scobell's wharf proved unsuccessful. Her centreboard has been down all winter and remained frozen firm so that it could not be hoisted up. On this the Head grounded.
