p.2 The harbor at Picton is being dredged by a dredging machine, with the aid of a steam tug. The Times says rapid progress is being made.

On Saturday last a fine barge built for Messrs. Cowan & Holcomb, of Montreal, for the purpose of carrying grain between Kingston and Montreal, was safely launched from Mr. T.C. Lee's shipyard, River St. Charles, Quebec.
