p.2 New Vessel - The keel of a new barque of large carrying capacity has just been laid at the shipyard of Mr. C.W. Jenkins, known as the Marine Railway Yard. The vessel is to be of as large a size as can navigate the Welland Canal, and will probably hold 22,000 bushels. It is being built on the order of Captain Gaskin of this city, and will take the place of the St. George, sold recently.
