p.2 The Rochester Union believes that the steamers Bay State, Ontario and Cataract will be sold to the New York and Fall River Steamboat Company for $145,000, and sent down the St. Lawrence this fall, if there is water enough in the Rapids. The Union thinks that propellers will be built for the lake, which will be run at less expense than the old boats.
