p.2 Port of Kingston Custom Expenses - revenue, expenses, etc.

The Shipping - On Monday and yesterday a number of vessels in port bent their sails, and gave to the harbor and wharves quite a business-like appearance. The rigging, painting and cleaning of most of them have been completed, and the present week, it is hoped, will witness the departure of several for western ports. It is understood that the Pierrepont will make an attempt to go out today, and should the effort prove successful, she will soon be followed by two or three sailing vessels.
