p.2 The Phoenix Burnt - Intelligence was received on Saturday of the destruction by fire on Friday, near Oliver's Ferry on the Rideau Canal, of the tugboat Phoenix belonging to Messrs. Chaffey Bros. The crew escaped. There was no insurance on the boat, and the owner's loss is between $3,000 and $4,000.
