p.2 The Late Marine Disaster - The schooner Defiance, which left here for the West on Wednesday afternoon last and was capsized off the Ducks during the gale that evening, was on Saturday towed in to the Marine Railway, where she will likely be hauled up and examined. It is not supposed that the vessel sustained any material injury, and she will likely be ready to resume her voyage in the course of a few days.

-Among the list of vessels offered for the acceptance of the Federal government we notice the name of the Bowmanville, owned by Mr. Charles Perry. The price asked is $25,000, in Canadian money.

p.3 Imports - 11.
