p.2 Damaged Wheat - A portion of the cargo of the schooner Ayr was sold by auction yesterday afternoon, at Anglin's wharf. There was 4,879 bushels in the lot, the whole of which was badly damaged. The wheat was purchased for Morton's distillery at 50 cents.

The Son's Picnic - Sons of Temperance use steamer City of Hamilton, placed at their disposal for the day by Calvin & Breck.
