p.2 Accident to Banshee - Yesterday morning the steamer Banshee, when about 10 miles below Kingston, on her downward trip, had her paddle-wheel shaft broken, and was unable to proceed further. She had a large number of passengers on board, all of whom were transferred to the American steamer for Ogdensburgh. The Banshee was towed up in the evening, and will undergo the necessary repairs.
