p.2 Close of Navigation - A marked change has taken place within the week in the appearance of the harbor. The shipping has nearly all deserted the port, and as a consequence but little stir is observable on the docks. Boatmen are beginning to fill up the numerous boarding-houses, and everything indicates the close of navigation..

A Total Loss - Captain Gaskin's schooner Bay of Quinte, which went ashore a few days since at South Bay, has fallen to pieces, and with her entire cargo is a total loss.
