p.2 New Steamer - We understand that Mr. O.S. Gildersleeve is making arrangements for the construction in Scotland of an iron steamer to ply on the Bay of Quinte. The new boat, which will be of large dimensions and built with all the modern improvements, is expected to be ready by the opening of navigation.

Another Gale - ...Vessels on the lake, if any there were, must have had their strength tried severely, but no reports of marine disasters have reached us.
