p.2 New Vessel - The keel of a new ship is now being laid by Messrs. E. Berry & Co. at their yard in Portsmouth. The new vessel is to be of 1000 tons burden, and is intended for the Atlantic trade. On Saturday the same firm purchased the well-known steam-mill property in Portsmouth for a shipyard, which will greatly increase their facilities for building and repairing.
