p.2 The American Steamer Ontario tested the strength of one of the strongly built corners of the new United States Wharf on Saturday. Coming in contact with it at a decreased speed the strong oak guard which protects her sides was crushed in and splintered considerably, attesting to the solidity of the new structure.
