p.2 In the severe storm on the lakes, mentioned in our paper yesterday, Captain Robert Nicholson, master of the schooner Delos de Wolf which was on her way from Chicago to this port, was knocked overboard and drowned. Captain Nicholson was a well-known and much respected resident of this city. He was about forty-six years of age, and leaves a wife and six or seven children to mourn his death. His body has not been recovered. [Oswego Times]
