p.2 steamer Passport carries troops to Hamilton, steamer Ontario arrived late because of fog.
Accident - One of the hands employed at the Portsmouth shipyard was knocked senseless yesterday morning, by one of the "shores" falling and striking him on the back part of the neck and shoulders. He soon recovered consciousness, however, under the care of Dr. McDonell, but has been so seriously injured that he is not yet able to return to his employment.
Launches - It is expected that one of the large seagoing vessels at the Portsmouth Railway will be launched this week, as well as a schooner at the City Marine Railway. The new steamer for the Cape Vincent route, building at the latter place, is also nearly ready, and will be launched some day next week.
