p.2 Wire Rigging - The demand still increases for the wire-rigging introduced here by Captain Gaskin; during the last three or four days several lots have been sent to purchasers in different localities in the province.

-On Saturday evening a sailor named Alexander McIntosh was lost overboard from the schooner Medora from the Bay of Quinte to Oswego..

Launch Tomorrow - One of the vessels now building at the Portsmouth Shipyard will be launched tomorrow afternoon, between two and three o'clock.

-The steamer Magnet will not arrive up today, having been delayed at Montreal taking on board a large body of Norwegian immigrants bound for the far West. She will leave tomorrow evening at the usual hour.

The Fog - The fog on the river yesterday was more than usually heavy. The steamer Banshee met with a detention of thirteen hours below Cornwall, and a further stoppage of some hours at Prescott, arriving here at eight o'clock this morning, instead of three o'clock yesterday afternoon.
