Trade Between The Lakes and England - The barque Wirralite, the pioneer of a line of vessels sailing between Liverpool in England, and Detroit on Lake Erie, arrived in Kingston on Saturday evening, and left port for her destination this morning. The Wirralite landed some fifty tons of goods at Montreal, and twenty tons at this port. The remainder of her cargo, which consists of general merchandize, is for Toronto and Detroit. The passage was made in thirty days from Liverpool to Montreal. The line is owned by Cunningham, Shaw & Co., Liverpool, who are represented in Kingston by Mr. J.M. Millar, as agent. The Thermutis, the first homeward bound vessel of this line, passed down the river some ten days since, and sailed from Quebec yesterday.
