p.2 Steamer City of Ottawa - The very neat and expensively finished canal steamer City of Ottawa has just left the ways of the Marine Railway, where she has been fitted with false sides, to ensure her steadiness. Not having originally had sufficient breadth of beam to support so much upper works, she was found to be not simply cranky but dangerous. With the additional breadth now given her it is hoped that this serious difficulty has been overcome, and she will be again ready in a short time to resume her regular trips.
