p.2 A Gale - While perfect stillness prevailed here on Saturday, a furious gale raged at the other end of the lake. The mail steamer Kingston did not venture to leave Toronto until Sunday morning, and came in at nine last night. The Banshee on her upward trip on Saturday night encountered the gale a little to the westward of the Ducks, and it was deemed prudent to run back.
