p.2 The Capture Of Steamers on Lake Erie - conspiracy to seize U.S. steamer Michigan on Lake Erie.

Buffalo, Sept. 20th - rebels seized the little steamers Parsons and Island Queen, near Bass Island in Lake Erie.

p.3 Arrivals - 22nd - Str Pierrepont, Cape Vincent - (mixed cargo)

Str Ontario, Lewiston - D.C., 18 crates, 1 bbl fruit; M.C., 18 crates, 7 baskets fruit; W. Martin, 100 bxs starch.

Str Passport, Montreal - gen cargo.

Str Bay of Quinte, Belleville - do.

Str Champion, Hamilton - do.

Clearances - 21st - Schr J. Coleman, 129 cds wood.

22nd - Str Champion, Montreal - gen cargo.

Barge Westport, do. - 9,582 bus wheat, and gen cargo, Chaffey & Bro.

Tug Forest with 4 barges in tow.
