p.2 Steamer Watertown - At the close of the City Council meeting last night, Alderman Kinghorn gave his Worship the Mayor and the members of the Council a special invitation to be present at the trial trip of the new steamer Watertown on next Thursday afternoon at two o'clock. The steamer will not as before stated, commence her regular trips on Thursday; as to the time of her doing so, notice will be given by advertisement.

p.3 Arrivals - 3rd - Str Ottawa, Montreal, G Robertson & Co, 5 bales almonds, 5 bales filberts, 37 bxs raisins, 5 bxs candles, 5 bxs pickles, 15 cases oil, 5 bbls soda, 2 bbls seed, 14 bgs rice, 6 bgs corks; Fraser & George, 105 bxs glass; Hugh Fraser, 10 bbls sugar; J McMillan, 10 bbls pitch.

Str Ontario, Ogdensburgh, E W Hutton, 1 box fruit.

Str Bay State, Rochester, D C Burnell, 1 crte pears; Hon John Hamilton, 1 crate pears; Capt Cunningham,1 bskt; Mrs Purdy, 2 bbls fruit.
