p.2 Signs of the Fall - The steamer Banshee has been withdrawn from the line of through steamers, and has made her last trip for the season, there not being sufficient freight to be had just now to keep the entire line profitably employed. She now lies at the railroad dock, opposite the market-battery, where she will be moored for the winter. Barges and sailing craft are gradually being put into winter quarters, and this and many other signs of approaching winter are occasionally showing themselves, as mere reminders of the final close of the season, which is fast coming upon us.
