p.2 The Pierrepont - Notwithstanding the high wind with which she had to contend, the steamer Pierrepont made her appearance opposite Morton's at an early hour this morning, from whence she gradually worked her way down to O'Gorman's wharf, by crashing through the new ice, which was between four and five inches thick. She will probably remain in her present quarters for the winter, and will not leave for Cape Vincent today, as was intended.
