p.2 The Bay of Quinte - The steamer Watertown came down from Belleville last night on her return from her first trip up the Bay of Quinte; her captain reports the bay perfectly clear its entire length, the ice having gone out unusually early this spring. She left again for Belleville this morning at eleven o'clock.

Tugging - The tug Wales came up from Brockville this morning, having in tow the England and the Ireland, two of Chaffey's large barges, one of them laden with cordwood.
