p.2 Steamer Bay of Quinte - The shaft for the steamer Bay of Quinte arrived yesterday morning by railroad from Toronto. It is that of the wrecked steamer Monarch, and has also done service for the John Counter, being still in good condition. It was at once conveyed to Messrs. Davidson & Doran's foundry, where about a week's work will be required on it, when it will be ready to place on board the steamer, which will occupy a couple of days more.
