p.2 The Ogdensburgh Journal says: - "The propeller Ontario, Captain Alvah Shaver, made the round trip from this port to Cleveland and return in five days and twenty-two hours. This, for the necessary delays in passing the canals both ways, and discharge and taking in freight, is an extraordinary performance."
