p.2 Struck A Rock - On Friday evening as the steamer Passport was on her passage down, she struck a rock within a quarter of a mile of the Victoria Bridge. She listed sufficiently to throw the passengers to one side, but we are not aware that any damage was done to the boat, which righted instantly. Some ladies who were on board fainted from alarm.
