p.2 Launch - Another of the ships in the Portsmouth shipyard was to have been launched at half-past four this afternoon.

Vessels To And From Canadian Ports Passing Through The Welland Canal - 7th.

The Ferry Steamer - Pending some slight repairs to the ferry Gazelle, which may occupy a day or two, the tug Ellen Jeffers will ply between the city and Wolfe Island.

p.3 Died - At Portsmouth, on Sunday, 8th instant, Capt. William Elliott, mariner, aged 47 years.

Imports - 7-9; Exports - 6,9.
