p.2 County Court and Quarter Sessions - Bruce vs Berry - to recover payment for timber supplied to E. Berry of Portsmouth.

-We learn from the Detroit Tribune that George F. Cleveland, the mate of the ill-fated steamer Pewabic, was arraigned on Tuesday before the United States Circuit Court, to answer an indictment brought against him by the Grand Jury for manslaugher, this action of the jury fixing the alleged blame of the collision on Cleveland. The cause was continued over until the next term of court. The case will attract much attention, and the real cause of the collision will probably be brought to light, and the blame fixed on those who ought to bear it.
