p.2 The Ice & The Ferry Steamers - The ice took last night to Wolfe and Garden Islands, and along the shore to Murney Tower. The Pierrepont did not cross over to Cape Vincent again yesterday evening, as was intended, but she made the trip to Garden Island and back this morning, breaking the ice the entire distance. The Watertown and Gazelle are frozen in at their dock.
