p.2 The Navigation Company - The Canadian Inland Steam Navigation Company held its annual meeting in Montreal on Wednesday. Hugh Allan, Esq., President, read an able report of the year's business; and not withstanding the heavy losses arising from the accidents to the Passport, Kingston and Spartan, the directors were able to declare a dividend of 10 per cent from the net earnings of the past year. All the old directors were unanimously re-elected. Hugh Allan, President; C.F. Gildersleeve, Vice President; Hon. John Hamilton, General Manager; Alex. Milloy, Secretary and Treasurer.
