p.2 The Assizes - McDonald vs Gildersleeve - The verdict was for plaintiff for $69.76 - the pipes also to go to plaintiff.

-Application will be made to Parliament, at the next session, to incorporate the St. Lawrence Navigation Company, established for the conveyance of freight and travellers, and for other purposes, all over the River St. Lawrence, and on the lakes, and especially from Montreal to Cornwall; the capital to be $500,000. The names of the applicants are M. Cullivier, G. Tate, J. McMartin, U.J. Robillard, L. Renaud, Louis Haincault, C.S. Rodier, F.X.A. Trudel.
