p.2 Navigation Open - The steamer Watertown broke through the ice this afternoon, and made the passage to Garden Island in something less than three quarters of an hour. She can now run round the lower part of Wolfe Island and make her way to Cape Vincent with very little difficulty.
Police Court - boy charged with stealing lead from steamer Rochester; Mr. Alexander Milne, Engineer, testified to the lead having been ripped off the stair steps during the night.
