p.2 The steamer City of Ottawa arrived here yesterday, and returned to Ottawa today with a good freight. She is the first steamer through the Rideau Canal direct this spring.

-The barque Water Witch arrived at Chicago this morning; said to be the first vessel through to that city from here this season.

Imports - 3,4; Exports - 3,4.

p.3 ad - Canadian Inland Steam Navigation Company - Royal Mail Through Line -str. Magnet, Capt. Fairgrieves.

ad for str. Passport, Capt. J.R. Kelley.

ad - For Sale - the fast sailing yacht Spray, 18 feet keel, 5 feet beam, with sails etc., complete, built by O'Gorman in 1865. Winner of 1st Prize at last Regatta. Apply to P. McIntyre, Jr.
