p.2 The New Gunboat - Mr. Wyatt, the government agent who is negotiating with Messrs. Calvin and Breck for the purchase of one of their Tugs, of which to make an additional gunboat for use on the river, has not yet decided on which of the tugs he will select.

-The Hon. John A. Macdonald arrived here this afternoon by the steamer Kingston.
