-The steamer Congress, recently seized at Montreal, Canada, supposed to be intended for a Fenian privateer, is the property of Owen Thorn, Esq., of Washington. He positively denies that the steamer was intended for the purpose above mentioned, but was sold to Capt. Henting, of Detroit, Michigan, to be used in transporting grain, the sale to go into effect when the boat reached Buffalo, New York.
