p.2 The Steamers From Toronto - Owing to the continuance of the gale at the head of the gale, the steamers Magnet and Champion, detained at Toronto, could not leave that port until this morning. They will reach here about midnight, and will at once proceed downwards. The Spartan is also expected to arrive and leave at her regular time in the morning, from Toronto.

-The gunboat Heron got up steam this afternoon, and proceeded westward.
