Launch at Garden Island - The schooner Denmark, built at Garden Island by Messrs. Calvin & Breck, was launched today shortly after noon. She is about 400 tons burthen, and a handsome model. The Denmark was towed over around the harbor by the tug Highlander, had a band of music on board, and was crowded with ladies and gentlemen.

-The Tug Hercules has gone into winter quarters at the dockyard.

City Council - Communication - from William Allen, enclosing the sum of $31.23, being the amount for which the long-talked of anchor and chain were sold to Fraser & George.
