The Steamers - The steamer Magnet arrived this morning from Montreal, and passed on for Toronto and Hamilton, intending to lay up here on her return. The Osprey is reported to have broken her rudder on the way to Montreal, which will make a brief delay in her return to this port. The propeller Magnet came up this morning from Montreal, and left again for Toronto, but was compelled to return owing to the heavy sea upon the lake. The propeller Colonist is also here waiting to proceed upwards.
