p.2 Dull Harbor - The harbor is getting dull, despite the unusual openness of the season. Only an occasional steamer makes its appearance, and were it not that the Bay of Quinte, the Watertown and the Wolfe Island Ferry steamers still ply regularly, the dullness would be general.
Gunboat Royal - The gunboat Royal has also been laid up at the Navy Yard. Both gunboats have been disarmed, and their armament returned into store, the engineer and assistant engineer and the cook of each vessel being the only persons on board, the crews having left for the respective vessels to which they belong.
