p.2 Funeral of Capt. Bowen - The funeral of the late Captain William Bowen took place yesterday afternoon, and was very largely attended. Flags were hoisted half-mast on most of the vessels in the harbor, both on Saturday and Sunday, out of respect to the deceased, he having, in addition to being for a long time a forwarder in this city, commanded one of the Royal Mail line of steamers for several years.
